I bought a business. I could not see the site.

Why On Radar exists

On Radar exists because Google was not a source of truth, the fix list was not a source of truth, and then AI arrived and made the picture worse.

In short: I started On Radar in Melbourne after buying a business and inheriting a website I could not actually read. I needed one instrument for where we stood in search, what was broken, what to fix first, and whether AI assistants would recommend us.

The website came with the keys

When I bought the business, I also bought the site. That is normal. What was not normal was how little I could trust any view of it. Google showed a position on a good day. An agency report showed a different story. The CMS showed something else again. None of them answered the questions I actually had as an owner: where do we rank for the work we want, what is broken on the public pages, and in what order should we fix it?

I did not need another keyword dashboard. I needed a source of truth I could hand to a developer, a contractor, or myself on a Tuesday night, without translating three tools into a guess.

Google was only one screen

Search Console is useful. It is also a rear-view mirror, and it is Google talking about Google. It will not tell you that your homepage is a thin shell, that www and non-www both load, or that the work you paid for never made it into the HTML a crawler sees. I wanted the public page scored as a page, with a grade and a short list, owned by us or by the platform, with a done-when so the work could actually finish.

Then AI added a second ranking world

Customers started asking ChatGPT, Gemini, and the rest who they should call. Those answers did not match Search Console. They did not match each other. A prospect who had never heard our name could be sent to a competitor, or to a US result, because the question had no country on it. I had gone from one blurry source of truth to several, and still no instrument.

That is the confusion On Radar is built to cut. We still score the site you already have. Paid plans also ask live, grounded AI engines prospect-style questions anchored to Australia, and measure whether they name you. Same questions next month, so the trend is real.

What On Radar is

On Radar is a Melbourne website and AI visibility audit for Australian businesses. You paste a URL. We fetch the public HTML and score on-page SEO, technical SEO, answer-engine readiness, local SEO, and on-page AI visibility. You get a grade and a plain-English fix list. Privacy Act cues are shown separately and do not change the overall grade. We do not promise page one, and we do not promise that AI will recommend you. We measure, then you decide.

I help owners who already have a site and need to see it clearly. If that is you, run a free audit, read the AI visibility guide, or compare pricing.

Who runs it
