How On Radar handles personal information
How On Radar handles personal information when you use onradar.com.au.
Last updated: 11 August 2026
In short: we audit public website URLs you submit, store the results against a browser ID and any email you give us, and use processors (email, payments, AI engines, analytics) only to run the product. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Who we are
On Radar is an Australian website and AI visibility audit product operated from Melbourne, Victoria. Contact: hello@onradar.com.au.
This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in connection with the On Radar service, in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, where they apply.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use On Radar, we may collect:
- Website URLs you submit for auditing, and publicly available content we fetch from those sites to produce scores and recommendations.
- Contact details you provide, such as email address (for example to receive a report, unlock a dashboard, or complete checkout).
- Account and usage data, including a browser identifier stored in local storage, audit history, AI visibility test results, plan and entitlement status, and related product events.
- Payment details when you buy a plan or package. Card data is handled by Stripe; we receive payment status and related billing metadata, not your full card number.
- Google Search Console data if you choose to connect GSC inside the On Radar application. We request the read-only webmasters.readonly scope. We do not modify your Search Console properties, and you can disconnect at any time.
- Technical data such as IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), browser type, and approximate request logs needed to run the service.
- Analytics events if product analytics (for example GA4) is configured, including page views and funnel events. Where used, IP anonymisation is enabled in our GA4 config.
- Messages you send us, including support or partner enquiries.
We do not require a CMS login or passwords for the free public-page audit.
3. How we use information
- Provide audits, scores, reports, dashboards, and AI recommendation tests
- Email reports, product updates related to your request, and service notices
- Process payments and deliver paid entitlements
- Prevent abuse, enforce usage caps, and secure the service
- Improve On Radar (for example understanding which features are used)
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
If you submit an email after an audit, we may send a short follow-up sequence about your results and On Radar plans. You can ask us to stop by emailing hello@onradar.com.au.
4. AI engines and third-party processors
To run live AI visibility tests, we send prospect-style queries (not your passwords) to third-party AI providers with web grounding where configured. Engines can include Google (Gemini), Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI (ChatGPT), and Perplexity, depending on your plan and configuration.
Other processors we rely on to operate On Radar may include hosting and infrastructure, Stripe for payments, Resend (or similar) for transactional email, and Google for Search Console OAuth and optional analytics.
Some processors may store or process data outside Australia. Where we use them, we do so because they are needed to provide the service.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use browser local storage to keep a stable audit user identifier so your history and entitlements can work across visits on the same device. Optional Google Analytics cookies load only after you accept analytics on the consent banner.
6. Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information to processors who help us run On Radar, if required by law, or in connection with a business transfer subject to appropriate protections.
7. Security and retention
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. We keep audit, account, and billing-related records for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes.
8. Access, correction, and complaints
You can request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@onradar.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
9. Children
On Radar is aimed at businesses and business operators. It is not intended for children under 16.
10. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The Last updated date at the top will change when we do.
